Today it was my birthday...what a wonderful way to start the day, enjoying these little ruby gems! They were as delicious as they look....something quite appealing about a little insignificant strawberry...I think!

I was eager to get started in my studio and excited about doing another little painting sketch to get myself into a 'good space' before tackling other paintings in my studio. This little paw-paw (papaya) bought from the farmers market the day before, found its way onto my canvas...before the rest of the family were even up for breakfast!
